My text replacement didn't apply

A text replacement swaps a phrase you say for the text you want to see. If nothing was replaced:

• Check the trigger. Open Settings → Text replacements and compare it with what you actually said — it has to match.
• Say it clearly and separately, with a small pause around it.
• It applies to new notes. Replacements added afterwards do not change notes you already recorded.
