My transcription is wrong
Start with how much of the text is wrong.
The whole text is wrong
- Listen to the recording and check that your voice came through clearly, without heavy noise or drop-outs.
- Set the speaker's language manually in the note settings. Letterly will transcribe the audio again.
Individual words are wrong
If Letterly keeps misspelling a name, a brand, or a technical term, add it to your Dictionary — Letterly will use your spelling in future notes.
The word is in the Dictionary and still comes out wrong
- Check that it is in the list and spelled exactly as you want to see it.
- Check that you added it before the recording — the Dictionary is applied while the note is transcribed, so it does not change older notes.
- Say the word clearly, with a small pause around it.
Need to replace one word with another — an abbreviation, an address, a standard phrase? That is a text replacement, not a dictionary word.
