Integrations
Integrations send a finished note out of Letterly automatically — into Google Docs, Notion, your CRM, or anywhere else you keep things. Set them up in Settings → Integrations, then run them from the Actions button inside a note.
There are two ways to connect: Zapier for ready-made apps, and webhooks if you have your own endpoint.
Zapier
Zapier links Letterly to thousands of apps without any code. A Zap has two parts: a trigger that receives the note from Letterly, and an action that puts it where you need it.
Find your API key
The API key tells Zapier which account to take your text from. Find it in either place:
- Open web.letterly.app/settings/actions/zapier and sign in if you are asked to.
- Or, in the app, go to Settings → Integrations → Zapier and tap Next a few times.
Build the Zap
- In Zapier, click Create → Zaps.
- For the trigger, search for Letterly and choose the event Letterly Actions. Sign in with your API key, name the trigger, then test it.
- For the action, pick the app you want — for example Google Docs → Append text to a document — and connect your account.
- Choose which parts of the note to send, then test the step and publish the Zap.

Webhooks
If you have your own endpoint, a webhook sends the note straight to it — no third-party service in between. Set one up in Settings → Integrations, add your URL, and run it from the Actions button like any other integration.
Webhooks are the more technical option — you need somewhere to receive the request. If you are not sure, use Zapier instead.
Use an integration
- Open any note.
- Tap Actions.
- Choose the integration you set up.
