Upload audio
Already have a recording? Add it to Letterly and it is transcribed like a note you recorded in the app — with a title, a transcript, and rewrite options.

- On the notes screen, tap +.
- Choose Upload audio.
- Pick the file.
Letterly transcribes the file and creates a note. You can leave the app while it works.
The + menu also has Write note, for a note you type by hand. See Write a text note.
Send audio from another app
In the app where the recording is — Voice Memos, WhatsApp, your recorder — use Share and choose Letterly.
