Siri can open Letterly and start a recording for you, without touching the screen.
The wording and menu names can look different depending on your iOS version.
1. Confirm the basics
- Internet connection — Siri needs a working connection for most requests.
- Letterly app — make sure it is installed and you are logged in.
2. Make sure Siri is turned on
Go to Settings → Siri (or Siri & Search) → Talk to Siri and choose “Siri” or “Hey Siri”, not Off.
If voice activation is off, Siri only works through the side button, not by voice.
3. Set Siri's language
Open Settings → Siri (or Siri & Search) → Language and select the language you will actually speak.
Start using Siri with Letterly
