Rewrite options
A rewrite option turns your transcript into the text you actually need — a clean note, a message, a summary, a post. The transcript stays as it is; every rewrite is saved as a separate version of the note.
On the Free plan you have the Magic option and 10 rewrites in total. Every other option is marked Pro.

- Open the note and tap Rewrite.
- Choose an option, for example Magic, Structured, or Short Summary.
- Wait a few seconds for the new version to appear.
You can leave the note or close the app while a rewrite is running. Letterly finishes it in the background.
Which option to choose

Your list of options
The Rewrite panel shows the options you use, not everything Letterly has.
- Favorites appear at the top of the list. See Favorite rewrite options.
- Custom rewrite options can be created from scratch or copied from an existing one. See Custom rewrite options.
- More options can be added from the Rewrite options gallery.
Switch between versions
Swipe left and right to move between versions, or tap the version name at the top of the note to pick one from the list.
Version names show the path the text took — for example Magic / Italian means the text was rewritten, then translated.
Rewrite a rewritten text
You can rewrite either the Original transcript or an already rewritten version.
Rewrite options can be applied one after another. For example, you can first make a note shorter, then turn that shortened version into a list.
There are two ways to rewrite an existing version:
- Swipe to the version you want to rewrite, then tap Rewrite and choose another option.
- Tap Rewrite, then use the arrow at the top to choose which version you want to rewrite.
